What science should I take senior year?

Sam asked:

I am a highshcool junior & I have straight A’s. I am getting scheduled for my senior year, but am unsure about what science to take next year. My school only needs 3 years of science to graduate & i am not planning on majoring with anything that has to do with science. However, I hope to get a scholarship for college. Which should I take, physics 100 or environmental science 100. Which would look better to colleges, but not bring down my GPA?

THANKSSS ALOTT! <3

physics is worth more than environmental science i think. it would look better to colleges i would say, and could bring up your GPA if you’re good enough at it.

I think physics would look a little better than envi sci since it’s more quantitative.

Physics has a better chance of bringing down your GPA.

But pick your major and the schools you’re considering. Then look at those schools online and see if your major requires Physics or Environmental Science.

(My daughter skipped chemistry, it isn’t pertinent to her major, but it’s required by the college (as taken in either HS or College). It was tougher in college than it would have been in HS.

Good Luck
