What are the physics behind the movement of a wiffle ball?

Just wondering. The physics of curveballs in baseball is all over the place but breaking pitches in wiffleball are produced differently, I think.

with the way the grooves are placed on the ball, and depending on how it is thrown, the air moving through the grooves causes the movement. the ball is so light, and can be thrown so hard, with the grooves, can make some major movement
