Or what grade are you in if you’re currently taking high school physics? I was a senior when I took it. When I was in school everyone took it as a senior. Currently I’m tutoring a kid whose taking physics as a sophomore. She says its common at her school to take physics in that grade. Personally, I think that she and a lot of the other kids at her school are taking it too early. I don’t think that she has the necessary math background to get the most out of the subject. She’s only had one year of algebra and she just started geometry. No trigonometry yet. No wonder America is falling behind other countries in science education.

I am a freshman in college currently working towards a BA in math. I am kinda regretting not starting on the physics path because I like applied science better. If I were to go to grad school for applied math, what does that exactly mean? how does that differ from say physics, or engineering? ANd what kind of jobs can you get with applied mathematics

I’m looking at colleges and the different requirements. There is one college that requires 3 science credits and all 3 have to be laboratory science. So far I have earth science and biology and I’m taking marine biology next year. I’m a rising senior and I need to know if I have what I need to qualify.

Ok, I have to do a report on how Alaskans (Must be natives) have contributed to science more importantly Biology.

Problem is: I have been searching Yahoo, Google and Ask, yet I can’t find anything.

If anybody could tell me a major contribution they have made and where to get more information on the subject it would help me a lot.

I typically am really bored of science, I think it totally useless for my life. For instance I don’t care what the density of mercury is, or how many moons Jupiter has, none of those things affect my daily life. By course, I mean like Chemistry, Biology or Microbiology, Physics, Earth Science, etc. I have almost graduated from my sophomore year of college I just need a science class.

Summarize Darwin’s theory of evolution by natural selection.

Explain why we are still piecing together a picture of how human evolution occurred, and how is it possible that our understanding of it might be flawed?

Note-these 2 questions i just really dont understand so if you can please help me. and if its not to much to ask please explain them as simple as possible-its gets confusing if there is to much info

This is how it goes in my school:
6th grade- Science in general
7th grade- Life Science
8th grade- Earth Science
9th grade- Physical Science
10th grade- Biology
11th grade- Chemistry
12th grade- None

Also, 9th grade takes Health.
I don’t know if that counts as a Science class.
