I am looking for a book that gives a comprehensive overview to the subject of quantum mechanics, including entanglement. Solid basic physics and understanding of calculus assumed.

By removing Forensic Science and replacing it with Applied physics then I would be able to get a head start in learning Physics before everyone in 11th grade. Because Physics is SUPER hard to learn in 12th grade and by taking applied Physics you can learn the basics.

Then in 12th grade I will take Physics and it would be a little bit easier to learn.

Is this a good idea and will college shine upon this?

So… I am hopeless at physics, chem and maths… haven’t done it for 2 years now. I always assumed biology was only recommended, and all the subjects at med school were totally different to what you learn in school. After all, here in Australia there are NO prerequisites for bachelor of medicine courses…

Generally, i want to know how physics is important. For example tidal flexing of the moons fo large planets often produces heat, a constant sourc eof energy (case of Europa) etc. Thanks!

The problems seem quite complex and examples in book aren’t too good to use as a reference to solve a problem. It is really difficult and frustrates me on how to even approach some problems without having enough knowledge on the background of physics. I’m using the 7th Edition of Physics for Scientists and Engineers by Serway/Jewett.

Does anybody have any ideas on a topic that encompasses both biology and physics, that could make a good project?

* By project I mean research a topic and collect information about it, put it on a presentation board.
