When I was in college, a friend had a natural science textbook that listed the numerous assumptions science makes about what exists and how it exists. (eg. Things have always behaved the same way they do now.) I’ve searched for this on the web, but can’t find the list. Does anyone have it or know where I can find it on the web? Thanks.

You know when you put ground pepper ontop of water in a dish.

The pepper floats on top, covering the water. But when you put some dishwater soap on your finger and stick it in the middle of the dish, The pepper moves away from the finger.

How do you explain this in terms of chemistry and physics?

I hate science. My primary and secondary school teachers have never made me interested in it. It is always confusing and they always deduct so many marks for using a wrong word and u have to explain every detail even for a one mark question. U also need to aply wht u learn and i am bad at that. I always get low marks for science. There is sooooo much memorising to do!!! I hate it yet i want to do well in it. Many pple say tht math and science are related. I love math but hate science. How can it be so? I normally get A+ for math. Any science teachers or excellent science students can help me?
